Tasks

-Maintain data integrity in our ATS and share pipeline insights. -Build and maintain talent maps, market insights, and pipelines for critical skill sets. -Contribute to projects that enhance sourcing effectiveness and overall hiring efforts. -Source and engage passive candidates for highly technical roles (engineering, physics, R&D, hardware/software, etc.). -Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define sourcing strategies. -Act as an ambassador for our culture and values, ensuring a positive first touchpoint for candidates.

What You Bring

-2–4 years of experience in sourcing or recruiting. -Strong research and sourcing skills with expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools. -Experience sourcing talent for aerospace, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors. -Craft personalized outreach to spark interest and represent our mission authentically. -Skilled at writing compelling outreach that earns high response rates. -Experience sourcing talent for startup or high-growth environments. -Thrives in a startup or high-growth environment where priorities can shift quickly.

About Pacific Fusion

-Led by founders from NASA, DOE labs, and genomics—Eric Lander (co‑founder/CEO) and Keith LeChien (CTO) steer the technical vision. -They’re pioneering pulsed magnetic inertial fusion: stacking modular ‘bricks’ in Marx generators to drive fuel capsules to fusion. -Built in a 135k ft² San Leandro facility, the team of ~60 engineers and scientists is constructing full-scale pulser modules. -Collaborations with General Atomics and US national labs accelerate scaling and prototype testing. -Their demonstration system in Livermore targets research-grade operations ahead of commercial rollouts. -By focusing on mass‑manufacturable modules and affordable supply chains, they aim to bring fusion to market within a decade.
