Tasks

ESP Utilities is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Utilities) to lead project delivery of several high-profile ESP clients primarily focused on the developer market. Be accountable for project management processes and outcomes, coordinating with and communicating across all stakeholders in a timely and transparent way. -Ensuring all projects have the necessary and correct resource allocated to deliver on the key objectives. -Be accountable for delivery of all client deliverables including accurate and timely Asset Values requests, supporting proposition documents, and where indicated, the administration of Contract Documentation related processes. -Identify and develop best practice processes, leveraging technology and innovation to meet end-user goals of programme acceleration, whilst delivering a lean and efficient capability for ESP. -To manage all stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure successful delivery of the project. -To lead client programmes of work delivering desired outcomes of Quality, Cost, Service, Delivery, Communication & Safety. -Liaise internally with all relevant departments (Pricing, Commercial, Legal, Ops and Accounts) on the delivery of each programme. -Lead end-user engagement on delivery, communicating programme status, articulating, and tracking action requirements -Be accountable for client ‘Point of Connection’ (POC) processes - working with team members and other stakeholders (internal and external) to maximise efficiency and favourable outcomes for client power requirements. -Be accountable for client NAV applications working with the respective leads in ESP to expedite applications and communicate status with all relevant stakeholders. -Ensuring all programmes have the necessary project plans and controls in place to effectively track project progress and critical path activities, ensuring that mitigation plans are in place to deal with risks and issues identified. -Ensuring all necessary reporting is in place to efficiently track progress and performance against agreed targets.

What You Bring

-Experienced people manager. -Good knowledge of power distribution, HV connections and Water connections -Utilities experience is highly desirable -Demonstrable process development & improvement skills -MSP, APMP PMP, or Prince 2 accreditation -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar -Highly developed senior stakeholder management skills and able to communicate clearly with customers. Proven client-side consultancy experience. -Proven programme and project management skill-set, with evidence of working at volume and tempo. -Experienced project manager with proven track record in coordinating stakeholders and delivering against project and business targets.
