Tasks

-Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution -Analyze and resolve complex engineering and construction issues as they arise -Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship -Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules -Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards in Dubai -Implement and maintain effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in construction management -Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials -Apply sustainable construction practices and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes -Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as required -Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports, progress updates, and site documentation

-Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment -Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and industry best practices -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment -Knowledge of contract management and dispute resolution techniques -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field -Willingness to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with potential travel to other project locations as required -UAE experience required, with a strong familiarity of local construction standards and regulations in Dubai. -Outstanding technical report writing and documentation skills -Excellent project management skills, including resource allocation, scheduling, and contract management -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail -Experience with sustainable construction practices and innovative solutions -Minimum 10 years of experience as a Resident Engineer for Building/Villas projects with 15+ total years of experience in the construction industry -Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and site safety protocols
