Tasks

-Serve as the internal and external champion for your product line. -Collaborate with other Product Line Business Teams to ensure continued success in the Burndy Engineered System -Own the product roadmap and lifecycle, from planning to execution. -Develop and deliver comprehensive sales training to ensure alignment and product knowledge across the sales team. -Drive continuous tooling innovation that aligns with the needs of the industry by defining product requirements and collaborating with engineering on development. -Direct Voice of Customer conversations across Utility, OEM, and Commercial/Industrial markets. -Develop sales tools and collateral -Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals -Primary point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned product family, providing support and education for all stakeholders. -Set pricing strategies to meet revenue and margin goals. -Driving a solution set across development teams (NPD process) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning -Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities -Interface regularly with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with current and future industry demands. -Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute. -Monitor and manage pricing on all products assigned to ensure gross margin targets are met -Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product -Lead go-to-market strategies in partnership with marketing and sales. -Conduct engaging product demonstrations and training tailored to customer needs and use cases. -Prepare and present monthly revenue forecasts using historical data, market trends, and cross-functional input. -Perform product demos to customers -Deliver a monthly revenue forecast -Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers -Interface regularly with sales and management teams, updating on key activities and initiatives -Brief and train the sales force as needed

What You Bring

We're looking for a strategic and driven Product Manager to lead the full product lifecycle—from concept to launch and beyond of the BURNDY Installation Tooling portfolio. You'll blend market insight, technical understanding, and customer empathy to shape products that drive growth and deliver value. -Be the expert with respect to the product lines -Bachelors degree in a technical or marketing discipline, MBA strongly preferred. -A passion for solving problems and creating innovative solutions. -3-5 years of experience in Product Management. -Proficient with all MS Office tools and SAP experience required. -Demonstrated experience leading successful teams through influencing skills. -Solid appreciation for a team-based approach and goal sharing mindset. -Strong communication skills across teams and with customers. -Demonstrated skill at consensus building. -A mix of business acumen and technical savvy. -Ability to pivot quickly and react thoughtfully to urgent requests for information from customers, management, sales, and peers. -5 years experience in the electronics or adjacent industry is preferred. -Demonstration of strong skill in verbal and written communications.
