Overview

Tasks
-Manages project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization. -Represents the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote AECOM's design-build capabilities. -Monitors contract compliance and leads project dispute/resolution process. -Implements innovative design solutions to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. -Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and construction managers, to optimize project outcomes. -Mentors, develops, and hires support staff to maintain a high-performing team. -Leads and assists in the development of future design-build proposals. -Builds and maintains relationships with project owners/AHJ's. -Ensures compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations in highway design projects. -Coordinates client needs and develops/builds on relationships for future opportunities. -Manages and leads a team of professionals, overseeing the design of large-complex projects. -Manages design effort, design schedule, and budgets. -Develops and maintains project documentation, including design plans, specifications, and technical reports. -Conducts regular project status meetings and prepares comprehensive reports for stakeholders. -Implements and oversees change and risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Bring
-Bachelor's degree + ten years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. -Excellent Communication Skills and Ability to Lead Staff. -Design Build Project Experience. -20+ years of transportation project experience. -Must possess CA state PE license. -Experience leading and managing transportation design-build projects on large complex highway projects. -Experienced with Design Build delivery for final design. -Position will require frequent travel to project and client sites. -Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment.
