Kitchen Attendant

Overview

Assist with kitchen cleaning and food prep, supporting line cooks in a holiday park.

Tasks

-Receive and sort supplies and deliveries -Prepare other food for cooking as directed by the chef in charge -Clean and sanitise all areas of the kitchen, all kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery -Wash and sort plates, cups, cutlery and cooking equipment -Store and sort food in the correct manner -Keep all work areas, cool room, storeroom and rear areas tidy -Dispose of rubbish and waste -Organise the sorting of recycling materials -Sweep and mop all floor areas in the kitchen and corridors leading to the kitchen -Comply with Ingenia’s WHS Policy and Procedures and any reasonable instructions from any supervisor/authorised representative of the company concerning health and safety matters -Maintain the kitchen equipment and plant in good condition -Follow proper hygienic food handling practices
