Tasks

-Hands/Arms: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Frequently operates machinery and will use hands/fingers and legs to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect and position materials -Interface between Area Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors to assist in coordinating Mechanical/Electrical startups. -Review and process project submittal information and assist Project Engineers with the coordination between multiple submittals to ensure the accuracy and functionality of each component of the Building Automated Control Systems with the various MEP systems. -Oversee controls subcontractor installation work daily to ensure they are maintaining their installation schedule, support system startup, and commissioning activities. -Oversee billing and schedule of values for Building Automated Control Systems subcontractors and vendors. -Organize and facilitate training of control personnel in the operations and maintenance of Building Automated Control Systems. -Coordinate Building Automated Control Systems with civil, architectural, and structural elements within the overall project design. -Assist in estimating Building Automated Control Systems budgets and managing Building Automated Control Systems team project staffing. -Field survey of control lines and benchmarks. -Participate in startup meetings involving Area Construction Managers, Design Team members, multiple subcontractors, local utility agencies, and owners to coordinate/ drive MEP system start up activities. -Secure Building Automated Control Systems subcontractors and equipment buyout and manage Building Automated Control Systems subcontractors contracts and contract modifications. -Receive and distribute requests for information (RFI) and change documents issued by other team members.

What You Bring

-Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required. -Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6). -Hearing: Must be able to work in proximity to loud equipment more than 75% of the time. Must be able to wear hearing protection as necessary. Often required to communicate with customers and coworkers in an office setting and on the job site. -Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with CSI specification system for construction. -Extensive experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is required. -Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress. -Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships. -Lift/Carry: Must have the ability to lift or manipulate 50 pounds to a height of 3 feet, and carry or push it 50-100 feet. -Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques. -Experience working in a live high tech facility required. -Education background in materials and methods of construction. -High School diploma or GED required. -Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks. -Experience working in cleanroom environments. -Ability to work closely with variety of trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential. -Sight: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus in an outdoor environment. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; reading printed and digital documents -Must use independent judgment, and organizational and problem-solving skills to determine best method to accomplish desired results. -Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude through high-pressure situations. -A minimum of five (5) years of building automated control system construction experience required. -Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams), and have a general understanding of working within a computer network. -Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership. -Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: Must be able to regularly position self in a kneeling, crouching or crawling position for the purpose of examining project work. -LEED Accredited Professional, or the ability to become accredited within eighteen (18) months preferred. -Must be able to climb stairs: Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces. -Speech: Ability to communicate laws, ordinances, plans, regulations, protocols, directives, and standard operating procedures related to project scope in English. -Demonstrate thorough understanding of all aspects of building automated control system construction. -Work schedule must be flexible to allow extended hours or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequences.
