Tasks

-Reviews and advises on all corporate policy. -Advises Safety Department. -Manages acquisitions, mergers, sales of corporate entities. -Comments on and negotiates changes to contracts. -Supervises risk management matters. -Structures corporate entities. -Supports litigation. -Advises HR Department. -Maintains corporate records. -Supervises litigation. -Comments on client proposals and draft contracts. -Manages disputed claims. -Assists Project Managers with project-related legal issues. -Negotiates contract terms and conditions. -Provides legal advice to executives, officers, and management. -Represents the Company before federal, state, and local agencies and courts.

About S&B

-Founded in 1967 by two friends in Houston, S&B began as a tiny engineering shop that quickly grew through grit and integrity. -By the late 1970s it had merged engineering and construction arms into a single EPC firm, tackling Department of Energy salt-dome projects. -They also branch into pulp & paper, advanced recycling, power & industrial, and marine market segments. -In 2021 they acquired Bibb Engineers & Constructors to deepen power and alternative fuels expertise and expand geographic reach. -Today they serve process sectors—refining, petrochemicals, NGL fractionation, export terminals and pipelines—integrating engineering through commissioning. -Often operating in complex, world-scale environments, S&B delivers large capital projects safely, on time and within budget.
