Tasks
-Participates in all tax credit reviews by outside entities. -Establish, foster and maintain relationships with external vendors and other 3rd party organizations necessary to cultivate programs that will support legal/regulatory compliance, energy and resource consumption reduction, and/or advocate sustainability to communities. -Review the files based on information presented by the applicants and ensure review of files within 24 hours of receiving. -Provide updates and recommendations on additions or modifications to advance initiatives, ensure compliance, efficiency and process improvement. -Evaluate and implement solutions to manage and report out on key metrics; Provide regular reporting for operations teams and clients (as needed). -Complete periodic audits as necessary; ensure tracking tools and processes are in place, and report compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements as needed or required. -May respond to inquiries from clients and federal and state entities regarding procedures and produce written documentation as proof of compliance. -Monitoring changes in LIHTC regulations and requirements and implementing modifications as indicated. -Participate in events (community, diversity, etc) on behalf of the organization and providing appropriate representation. -Develop, implement sustainability/compliance programs, creating presentations as needed for the appropriate client and/or operational audiences. -Conduct the review of Affordable Housing resident files for eligibility and compliance with all required laws. -Facilitate due diligence activities to mitigate any legal or regulatory risks; Develop and implement profiles for compliance related to government regulations. -Conduct required testing for all elements of programs and provide supporting documentation of all results;

What You Bring
-Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, investment, property management (Yardi or One Site), and database management programs in order to complete required reports. -Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. -Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to complete financial records, budgets, and other fiscal reporting information. -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business, Legal, and/or related fields but is not required. -Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach. -Adherence to all policies and procedures as outlined in the personnel manual. -Strong computer literacy skills are essential to this position, including RealPage Onesite Tax Credit software. -Housing Credit Certified Professional certification a plus. If not already certified, the requirement to attend HCCP training within the first 60 days of employment and include a passing score on the exam. -Good verbal and written communication skills -Knowledge of the HUD program/ Affordable Housing process is a plus.
