Tasks

The Agtek Take-Off Technician is responsible for performing accurate quantity take-offs and materials pricing. Must be able to review and understand all bid documents, bid forms, request for proposal, request for information, and assess project risks. -Prepare “take-off” quantities to ensure the accuracy of data used in estimates. -Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team. -Review project plans, requirements, and specifications provided by Engineers during the bid invitation to meet and exceed the company standards for understanding bid invitations. -Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Project Managers, and Superintendents throughout the project life cycle. -Occasional travel to job sites for pre-bid conferences required.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent, preferred. -Have demonstrated leadership abilities to coordinate with a team of Estimators to develop a large multidisciplinary estimate. -Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Agtek, and MS Office, required. -Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry. -Flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines through analytical problem-solving.
