Senior Executive - Procurement

Description

• Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules and contract compliance.
• Negotiate terms on cost, quality and timelines with vendors/contractors.
• Maintain proper documentation and reports for procurement activities.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, comparative statements and purchase orders.
• Identify, evaluate and finalize vendors/subcontractors for BOS packages.
• Manage procurement of BOS items and services, including structures, cables, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, and civil/electrical works.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to align procurement with project requirements.

Requirements

We are looking for a proactive Senior Executive – Procurement (BOS Contracting) with at least 1 year of experience in Balance of System (BOS) contracting. The role involves vendor management, contract finalization and procurement of BOS components and services essential for solar EPC projects.

• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to ERP systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Exposure to end-to-end BOS procurement and contracting.
• Understanding of solar EPC procurement processes and project timelines.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in BOS contracting/procurement (solar industry experience preferred).
• Familiarity with contract terms, billing, and compliance requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
