ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR

Tasks

-Efficiently process check requests on a regular basis. -Assist with the audit and process of credit card bills. -Perform monthly reconciliations and maintain accurate up-to-date files. -Perform data entry associated with accounts payable. -Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization. -Address and respond to vendor inquiries. -Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner. -Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies. -Assist with other accounting functions as needed. -Maintain many vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures.

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. -Effective written and verbal communication skills. -Excellent organizational and time management skills. -High Schol Diploma or GED equivalent required. -1 year + plus experience with accounts payable, general accounting or financial /bookkeeping experience is required. -Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. -Proficient in MS Office skills – notable Excel. Experience with Deltek CostPoint is a requirement. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
