The Role

Overview

Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes and data analysis as an engineering intern.

Tasks

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process-related issues and develop corrective actions. -Assist in the analysis, design, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. -Participate in safety audits and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment. -Conduct data collection and analysis to support process improvement initiatives. -Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge. -Assist in the integration and optimization of the Distributed Control System (DCS) controls, including programming, testing, and monitoring system performance. -Support the implementation and testing of process improvements. -Participate in the development and maintenance of documentation, including piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), standard operating procedures, and root cause analysis.

What You Bring

-Candidates must have completed freshman year -Focus in one of the following majors: Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering -Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above strongly preferred -Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at the time of the internship, which is May 2026-August 2026
