The Role
Overview
Manage safe delivery of Rolls‑Royce construction projects, overseeing H&S, quality & schedule.

Tasks
-Promote, develop and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company's reputation at site level. -Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the project. Delivering projects to programme as set by the senior management team. -Liaise with the project manager to order general materials as required to complete the project. -To lead your team to deliver the company’s “management expectations” successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets. -Co-ordinate all activities on site, issue permits in compliance with CDM and CSO6 -Liaise with the Rolls Royce Project Manager to ensure that the works are delivered in accordance with the workbook. -Provide Health and safety leadership to your site delivery team, promote behavioural safety improvements and carry out regular site manager safety audits reporting findings to the management / safety team. -Carry out regular toolbox talks, daily activity briefings with Rolls Royce & sub-contractors. -To ensure works are carried out to high standard complying with relevant British Standards, codes of practice and Rolls Royce Standards and are completed snag and defect free. -Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure reporting this information to the project manager where applicable. -Support project opportunities where identified, to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance. -Support where required the mandatory reporting of KPI's, Good Catches/Near Misses (GC/NM), accidents and incidents are carried out as per Integral and Rolls Royce procedures. -To ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards.

What You Bring
-Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses (highly desirable). -Experience of managing health and safety procedures along with knowledge of H&S standards/regulations (essential). -Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills (essential). -Experience of external construction work bias including groundworks, steel frame buildings, cladding & drainage installation experience. -Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken. Able to demonstrate initiative (essential). -City & Guilds /NVQ (or equivalent) construction related qualification (essential). -SSSTS/SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS Card, First Aid (essential). -Ability to develop a good understanding of the customers’ business requirements (essential). -Commitment to providing a high-quality service demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness and flexibility (essential). -Proven and demonstrable experience in the role of a supervisor/ site manager (essential). -Adept at working in a team and providing leadership/support to fellow team members (essential). -Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office, Fieldview or similar tablet-based quality assurance software (essential). -High level of organisational ability along with time management skills in order to drive and meet deadlines (essential).
