Tasks

-Travel regularly within the region to meet with clients, support project pursuits, and represent Arcadis at key industry events. -Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date pipeline of business development opportunities to support strategic decision-making and revenue forecasting. -Champion market development efforts by identifying emerging opportunities and leveraging Arcadis’ multidisciplinary capabilities to deliver integrated solutions. -Partner with regional/area leadership, practice leadership, and local technical experts to identify, pursue, and secure strategic project opportunities, while ensuring exceptional client service and delivery. -Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering customized, value-driven solutions, and overseeing the development of compelling proposals and successful interview presentations. -Lead and expand client account teams across the southwest, cultivating strong relationships with municipal and regional clients to drive business growth. -Build and lead high-performing account teams, while mentoring junior and mid-level staff to support their professional growth and strengthen leadership pipelines.

What You Bring

-Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking. -Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline -Strong client relationship skills with a successful track record of positioning, pursuing, and winning projects in the municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater sectors. -20 years’ experience in the water/wastewater municipal utility market
