BSE Technician I

Overview

Assist in producing structural, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical system plans using BIM tools.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Collaborate with the design team to craft sketches, layouts and plans -Interface with Technology Services team to coordinate data collection and management -Make site visits alongside senior team members to document existing systems and gather and consolidate owner documentation -Check in frequently with architects, designers and engineers regarding assigned projects -Participate in product research, evaluation and selection of appropriate resources and tools

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and/or other similar programs -Technical problem-solving skills -Interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively both verbally and via written correspondence -AS degree in a technical field of study -BIM modeling and drafting skills -Construction administration duties experience -High school diploma -Familiarity with most governing codes and standards as well as engineering formulas and methodologies -Ingenuity  – seeking new opportunities and consistently identifying unexpected and practical ways to solve problems.
