Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Tasks

-Coordinate and escalate slow or non-pay accounts at 60-days thresholds with sales organization and AR Management for support. -Balance portfolio performance with supporting occasional projects and ad hoc reporting requests -Identify and resolve customer issues related to slow pay or non-payment of invoices through pro-active communication with clients and the sales team. -Accountable for improving AR performance through concise AR Aging metrics. -Drive high customer satisfaction, measured by CSAT and NPS, and retention levels through relationship building, professional and courteous communication. -Act as the first escalation point for customers and sales looking for enhanced support from our operations -Assist management with training, coaching, and development of the Accounts Receivables team -Assist with team meetings, workload assignments, and team member selection as needed

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College -4+ years of experience in consumer and/or commercial collections, billing, or cash applications in addition to customer service experience within a corporate setting -Oracle Advanced Collections experience preferred. -Strong focus and attention to detail -Experience collaborating and communicating with other internal business partners. -Ability to work within time deadlines by prioritizing workload and understanding the priority business outcomes. -Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing. -1+ years successfully fulfilling Accounts Receivable Specialist responsibilities on the existing Accounts Receivables team at CoStar Group -Become proficient in understanding of company A/R-Collections life cycle, especially related to root cause analysis and AR aging prevention within a 3-month time frame. -Excellent oral and written communication skills required. -Proven ability to actively resolve customer inquiries in a timely manager and high degree of customer service. -Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Excel that includes the ability to manipulate data, filter and develop basic formulas (pivot tables and Vlookups)
