The Role

Overview

Manage and enforce concrete quality standards across regional construction projects.

Tasks

-Drive a culture of continuous quality improvement within the project and throughout the region. -Support the implementation of quality policies and procedures for construction projects. -Conduct regular project assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards. -Stay updated on industry best practices and quality standards. -Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as 3rd party inspectors, consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance. -Oversee the project plan for testing and inspections of materials and installation of the work. -Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall project performance. -Train, educate and onboard teams and subcontractors on quality processes and tools. -Monitor construction processes to identify potential quality issues and provide solutions promptly. -Conduct Quality Incident Investigations and perform root cause analysis for quality incidents. -Collaborate with project manager and construction teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. -Support the team in the creation, execution, and maintenance of Project Quality Plans, and schedules for preinstallation and first installation meetings.

What You Bring

-Certification or experience in continuous improvement methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile is a plus. -Proficiency in Quality management software and tools. -ATTI Laboratory Soils/Aggregate Technician Certification Preferred -Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or Quality Control Manager in the construction industry. -American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Field-Testing Grade 1 Certification required -Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. -Certification in quality management (e.g., USACE CQM), strongly preferred. -Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. -ATTI Field Technician Certification Preferred -Full understanding of the execution of concrete placement and civil scope of work -In-depth knowledge of construction quality standards and regulations. -Knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
