Tasks

-Lead procurement efforts including RFP development, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations. -Serve as the primary liaison between Turner & Townsend, clients, contractors, and consultants. -Coordinate with city agencies, utility providers, and permitting authorities to ensure timely approvals and compliance. -Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates, and project documentation. -Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and client satisfaction. -Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk management. -Manage change control processes and ensure documentation is current and accessible. -Support sustainability and resilience initiatives in project planning and execution. -Drive full lifecycle project management for public sector construction projects, from pre-design through close-out. -Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed. -Facilitate regular client and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution. -Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies tailored to public sector projects. -Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. -Identify opportunities to improve project management procedures, tools, and templates. -Mentor junior project managers and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing. -Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

-Professional certifications such as CCM or PMP are preferred. -Able and willing to work onsite at the client’s facility approximately 23 miles North of Saint Petersburg, FL on a full-time basis. -Strong strategic advisory skills during project conception and planning phases. -Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications, and develop RFPs and contracts. -Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and project management software; familiarity with contracts and construction documentation. -Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities. -Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with demanding stakeholders. -Experience managing capital improvement programs and renovation projects, including fire suppression systems. -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. -10+ years of project management experience in public works, municipal infrastructure, or related sectors. -Proven ability to lead complex design and construction projects, including parks, civic buildings, infrastructure upgrades, and ground-up developments.
