Tasks

-Promote an agile DevOps culture: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analysis model developers and plant system owners to streamline collaboration and improve the delivery process. -Develop and quality assure dynamic models of plant and C&I systems. -Manage source code: Define and enforce version control strategies for several streams of simulator software workstreams using Git and Azure Repos. -Contribute to the development of Simulator Assisted Engineering as an analysis method.

What You Bring

-Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance -Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check -Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check -Typically you will be Degree qualified in Computational Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar. -Skilled in programming languages and hardware/software integration. -Experience in cross-functional collaboration, working with diverse teams and external partners. -Knowledge of safety-critical systems and relevant industry standards (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 9001) is beneficial. -A background in Systems Engineering, including concept development, data management, and requirements analysis -Proven experience in Software Engineering within agile environments, dynamic modelling (e.g. Simulink), and software verification/validation. -Familiarity with control systems design and tools such as GSE SimExec, RELAP, JADE Suite is advantageous.
