Tasks
-Resolve customer complaints and ensure timely receipt of goods and services. -Coordinate delivery and serve as the first point of contact for service-related inquiries. -Handle questions and provide information about pharmacy products and services. -Maintain patient records according to HIPAA privacy and security regulations. -Receive and process new pharmacy referrals and verify insurance coverage. -Interact directly with customers to resolve inquiries related to pharmacy services and deliveries. -Facilitate prior authorization requests and accurately transcribe prescriptions. -Respond to inbound and outbound customer calls with a focus on customer service and productivity. -Coordinate initiation of care with patients, caregivers, and other care providers. -Support pharmacological services by verifying insurance information and updating patient records. -Generate reports following the cycle fill calendar and manage refill requests.

What You Bring
-Prior authorization experience. -High School Diploma or GED. -Time management skills. -Problem-solving skills. -Strong data entry and typing skills. -Strong commitment to teamwork and flexibility. -Completion of a board-approved pharmacy technician-training program. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -2+ years' experience as a pharmacy technician. -DME experience. -Bilingual English-Spanish. -Willingness to learn new computer software. -Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access. -Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician License. -Telephonic customer service experience. -Punctuality and organization.
