Tasks

-Assist engineers and discipline leads with day-to-day tasks and contribute to conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases for CANDU and other nuclear electrical systems under the supervision of a P.Eng. -Attend technical and coordination meetings as needed, and contribute to a collaborative, open-minded, and positive team environment. -Support the development of electrical engineering deliverables for nuclear and conventional systems, ensuring alignment with AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy Quality Assurance Programs and project requirements. -Interface with multidisciplinary teams and project sectors (e.g., Document Control, Project Management, field teams) to coordinate assigned tasks and facilitate document reviews and RFI responses.

What You Bring

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Prior experience in the nuclear industry is considered an asset. -Demonstrated ability to resolve engineering issues using fundamental technical knowledge. -Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills. Thrives in dynamic, multidisciplinary, and team-oriented environments. -Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing. Proven ability to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and contractors. -Currently enrolled in Electrical engineering/Engineering Science/Math Program with an accredited Canadian University. -Ability to obtain Security Clearance is mandatory. -Solid foundation in engineering, physics, and mathematics with the ability to apply principles to practical problem-solving. Basic knowledge of analytical and design tools such as MATLAB, ETAP, and MathCAD.
