Design, develop, validate, and release vehicle brake systems and components.

Tasks
-Lead design, development, and release of brake system components (calipers, rotors, boosters, master cylinders, brake lines, ABS, and ESC systems). -Coordinate with purchasing, quality, and manufacturing teams to meet program timelines and cost targets. -Support root cause analysis and resolution of brake system issues during development and post-launch. -Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. -Analyze test data, prepare reports, and recommend design changes as needed. -Develop and execute validation plans, including laboratory and vehicle-level testing. -Work with suppliers to ensure component designs meet performance, durability, and safety requirements. -Manage engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and DFMEA/DVP&R.

What You Bring
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills. -3–5 years of experience in brake system engineering or related automotive systems. -Familiarity with ISO and FMVSS brake regulations. -Experience with ABS, ESC, and regenerative braking systems. -Knowledge of brake system performance simulation tools. -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. -Hands-on experience with vehicle brake testing at proving grounds. -Understanding of brake system design principles and performance requirements. -Experience working with global suppliers and cross-functional teams. -Experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX) for component design and packaging. -Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, and other automotive development tools. -Familiarity with validation and testing methods for brake systems. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related engineering field.
