The Role

Overview

Manages end-to-end interior furniture projects, liaising with clients, vendors, and teams.

Tasks

-Work closely with vendor partners to gather and clarify detailed information and develop customer mock-ups -Apply a strong attention to detail to all documentation and processes, ensuring accurate and complete information -Suggest and research cost saving opportunities for clients -Develop processes and document program decisions to implement across multiple projects -Work closely with project partners to ensure that client program requirements are met at the project level -Work closely with clients and client representatives to determine clear requirements, deliverables and deadlines to ensure expectations are fulfilled -Track program performance metrics for regular reporting based on client requirements -Use knowledge of commercial furnishings and equipment to develop an expertise in customer-specific standards -Identify space requirements to meet client needs and engage in detail-driven research for solutions -Develop and deliver customer presentations with a strong understanding of visual representation to create effective communication tools

What You Bring

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams -Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite required, especially Excel and PowerPoint -Basic knowledge of building infrastructure, construction vocabulary and building codes preferred -Proficient with AutoCAD software -Excellent analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills -Employ an appreciation for design principles to all activities: function, balance, alignment, proportion, materiality, etc. -Basic understanding of floorplans and drawing sets required -2+ years’ experience in interior design, architecture, and/or systems furniture design field or equivalent -Excellent organization and time management skills -Intermediate knowledge of commercial furnishings and equipment preferred -Strong presentation skills -B.S. Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architectural Studies, or relevant degree. -Plus: Experience with IWMS Systems/BOMA standards -AutoCAD or similar drafting software experience required
