Tasks
With support from the wider practice, the Director will be responsible for leading project delivery, managing client relationships, and driving business development. The successful candidate will bring extensive mechanical and/or electrical engineering expertise, providing technical leadership while promoting collaboration and the company’s shared values. -Foster collaboration across disciplines to deliver fully integrated design solutions. -Strengthen existing client relationships and develop new ones to expand the business portfolio. -Support senior management in implementing business strategies and operational processes. -Ensure designs meet the highest technical standards and align with client expectations. -Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and encourage professional development. -Provide technical mentorship and ensure quality and consistency across all projects. -Manage project profitability and oversee commercial outcomes. -Oversee team and project performance, including resourcing, budgeting, timesheets, and invoicing. -Drive fee income and monitor team financial performance. -Manage and lead the Building Services team. -Identify and pursue new project opportunities. -Contribute to wider marketing and growth initiatives.

What You Bring
✅ Progressive thinking -Strong financial management and commercial awareness. -Proven experience in a senior leadership or director-level role within Building Services. -Degree in a relevant discipline, with Chartered Engineer (CEng) status through CIBSE or IMechE preferred. -Demonstrable business development and client relationship management skills. -Full, clean UK driving licence.
