The Role

Overview

Assist on civil construction projects, learning project mgmt, safety, estimating, QC, surveying.

Tasks

-Help prepare RFIs and Submittals. -Work with key departments to assist with and gain exposure to: -Safety: Attend/Give Toolbox Talks, participate in safety inspections, and support Health and Safety personnel. -Quality Control: Support QA/QC tracking and reporting. -Estimating: Assist with quantity takeoffs and bid solicitations. -Attend/run progress meetings and assist with documentation. -Surveying: Assist with set up and layouts. -Project Management: Assist with scheduling, coordination, quantity tracking, etc. -Support coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors. -Participate in project startup meetings and assist with documentation.

What You Bring

-Strong desire to learn and grow in the construction industry. -Good communication and teamwork skills. -Must have a valid driver's license. -Current student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or technical program in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. -Exposure to construction software (e.g., HCSS, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam) is a plus. -Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
