Overview

Install and troubleshoot aerial fiber/coax, work on poles and ladders, ensure customer satisfaction.

Tasks

What You Bring

-Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving -Work in a variety of environments; indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, elevated -Ability to use gaffs to climb poles -Ability to pass a DOT physical -Work independently -Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) -Ability to travel daily, open to a variety of schedules, participate in mandatory rotation of on-call evenings and weekends as prescheduled, throughout all seasons -Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools -Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds) -Class A CDL a plus -Minimum of 2 years of aerial fiber telecommunications construction experience required -Ability to document and keep a detailed record of work activity -Ability to build hardline on poles and use a lasher -Ability to utilize hand tools, identify wire size/color and accurately utilize measuring devices -Ability to identify and mitigate hazards -A body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely. **Safety is our #1 Priority. If personal safety is not compromised, an accommodation may be available based on previous ladder experience in a similar role** -Ability to complete tasks with small components and wires -Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills -Ability to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time -Coax hardline experience a plus
