Tasks

-Train and mentor Maintenance Level 2 employees in pest control procedures, safety practices, and regulatory compliance. -Apply appropriate pest control treatments using chemical applications, traps, and other approved methods. -Develop, implement, and manage an effective pest control program tailored to each property’s needs. -Respond to resident requests and follow up to ensure work orders are completed efficiently and satisfactorily. -Deliver excellent customer service, building strong, long-term relationships with residents. -Maintain accurate records of pest control services, including treatment details, follow-ups, and recommendations. -Oversee chemical purchasing, inventory management, and ensure safe and compliant storage of all products. -Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, boiler checks, and other operational logs using Avenue Living systems. -Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest infestations and potential entry points. -Complete minor renovations such as painting, drywall, mudding, and taping, as well as routine repairs including doors, hinges, and locks as needed. -Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building equipment, including boilers, HVAC, plumbing systems, and minor electrical repairs. -Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. -Maintain a safety-first approach by completing all required training, keeping work areas clean and hazard-free, and identifying potential risks. -Assist with the delivery, installation, and disposal of materials and appliances as required.

What You Bring

-Pest control license is an asset but not required, we will train and cover costs associated with obtaining. -Must complete & pass a criminal record check. -Mandatory requirement to be clean shaven to wear a respirator as required. -A technology-savvy skillset with the ability to work within multiple programs and systems at the same time via mobile phone. -A valid driver's license, clean driver’s abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle. -Ability to work outside of normal business hours and be part of the On Call Rotation. -Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs. -Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to meet Resident needs.
