Tasks

-Audit Processes: Supports and participates in internal audits and corrective action follow ups, as required. -Collaborate with Production Team: Work closely with the production team to communicate quality issues, provide feedback, and recommend corrective actions to ensure product quality. -Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures. -Compliance: Ensure that products comply with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. -Inspect Products: Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. First article? Final inspection? -Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes (e.g. root cause analysis). -Equipment Maintenance: Ensure inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee accuracy and reliability. -Document Findings: Record and report inspection results, including any defects or discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of inspection activities.

What You Bring

-Understands Requirements: Reads and understands print drawings, specifications and purchase orders for correct test requirements, procedures, and sampling plans. -Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing safer, more efficient practices across operations preferred. -Familiar with Lean Manufacturing tools (standard work, 5S, visual management, etc.) a plus.
