Tasks

-Preparing construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents -Performing computations for structural analysis and design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other structural components -Collaborating with the engineering team to solve complex problems for the structural analysis and design of bridges, culverts, and other transportation infrastructure projects -Construction support through review of contractor shop drawings and submittals -Attending project meetings with internal project teams and external clients -Design and layout of project components in 2d and 3d -Conducting assessments and inspections of bridges, culverts, and other project components -Cost estimating -Report and memo writing -Field observation of construction for adherence to construction plans and specifications

Requirements

• engineering degree
• abet/eac
• eit
• microstation
• aashtoware
• mathcad

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program or an approved equivalent -EIT certification is preferred -Proficiency with Microstation, AASHTOWare, MathCAD and other structural engineering software a plus but not required
