Oversee commercial management for Lower Thames Crossing, handling contracts, costs, and reporting.

Tasks
-Work collaboratively with the supply chain’s commercial team to ensure smooth and transparent communication on cost and change matters. -Foster strong relationships with internal teams and the supply chain to ensure commercial awareness and compliance with contract procedures. -Manage the preparation of the monthly Cost and Value Reconciliation (CVR) and associated commercial reports. -Administer the defined cost contract including disallowed cost assessments, compensation events and cost verification. -Ensure subcontract and supply chain compliance with contractual and company procedures. -Provide commercial input to operational decisions, ensuring risks and opportunities are commercially managed. -To co-ordinate the commercial team to ensure programme issues are identified and actioned. -Support the Senior Commercial Manager in compiling project-level commercial performance reports for internal and client reviews. -To manage the preparation and review of Earned Value Management. -Manage the day-to-day commercial administration of defined project sections, ensuring compliance with the main contract and subcontract agreements. -Assist the Senior Commercial Manager with risk and opportunity management, maintaining accurate registers and mitigation plans. -Ensure data integrity in defined cost submissions, reconciling site cost data and finance records. -Provides commercial input to Buildability and Value Engineering reviews. -Monitor and report on subcontractor account status, including payments, liabilities and variations.

What You Bring
-BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent -CSCS Card (Professional Qualified Person) -Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (or working towards) -Has a good knowledge of and adheres to the Company’s governance requirements and maximises LEAN/digital opportunities.
