Tasks

-Attend site meetings and provide progress reports as required. -Set out and survey all assigned construction sites using surveying equipment -Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations -Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed on time and to company standard -Interpret construction plans and drawings and ensure that work is carried out to specification -Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and workforce productivity -Identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction -Provide training and guidance to team members as required. -Provide technical advice and guidance to the construction team

Design Build Search is seeking a Setting-Out Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our client's experienced team based in Cork. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Proficiency in the use of total station, GPS, laser level and other surveying equipment. -Proficiency in the use of Autocad and associated programs -Degree in Civil Engineering or a Construction related field. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Valid driver's license with access to own vehicle -Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a similar role in the construction industry
