Overview

Lead production team, maintain equipment, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement.

Tasks

-Hands on Cleaning of machinery and plant -Assist with production when required -Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental management -Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems -Operation of mobile plant as required -Greasing and oiling of production plant -Assist in the development of SSOP’s and Risk Assessments

-A recognised up-skill. -Ability to take ownership of the role -Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment. -Previous labour intensive role -Able to work Rotating shifts - days & late evenings -Numerate & literate. -Ability to rotor and prioritise your own workload -Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant. -Localised up-skilling. -Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility -Multi-functional operation, possibly cross departmental. -Ability to work as part of a team or on your own. -Digicare+ Provided by Aviva -A certified counterbalance FLT driver is advantageous. -High degree of Health & Safety awareness. -Willingness to undergo further training and development. -5S principles. -Excellent communication skills.
