Overview

Design and validate mechanical parts for New Holland tractors, from CAD to production.

Tasks

-Plan and manage physical and virtual validation activities to have robust designs prior to release (CFD, FEA, Rig testing and full vehicle tests). -Preparing and presenting design reviews to cross functional teams to gain approval of designs prior to release. -Preparing technical documentation for cost evaluation / investments to support decision-making processes. -Release of CAD models and drawings for prototype part procurement and production. -Provide technical assistance for the preparation of vehicles for testing and later in the project phase to manufacturing plants for optimization of manufacturing processes. -Working and managing activities across a global cross functional team. -Design of parts and systems for tractor projects considering technical solutions that bring the best trade-off between performance, cost, quality, timing, and reliability.

What You Bring

-Experience in virtual validation tools e.g. FEA and CFD. -Good teamwork, communication, and presentation skills. -Proactive approach and able to work under own initiative. -2 years into a degree in a Mechanical Engineering or similar subject. -Fully Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook. -Experience in 3D CAD software such as Creo, Catia, Solidworks.
