Tasks

-Interface with coworkers to achieve shared success -Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder coordination, and sub consultant management -Prepare studies, reports, memos, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects -Work under the direction of a Project Manager to lead the roadway design discipline and to coordinate and integrate the other associated design disciplines on projects -Design and analysis of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails -Take ownership of projects from start to finish, with attention to quality, budget and schedule

What You Bring

-Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering -Proficiency using Bentley and/or Autodesk civil design software -5-10 years of experience in roadway transportation engineering -Solid background in AASHTO roadway geometric design criteria -Experience working on multidisciplinary project teams -Proficiency with MS Office applications -Knowledge of DOT standards and plan preparation procedures -Professional Engineering license in state of employment or ability to obtain within one year of hire -Solid written and oral communication skills -Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail -Drainage design and/or traffic engineering experience is a plus
