Tasks

-Packing Materials Management: Ensure the availability and quality of packing materials, coordinating with suppliers and managing inventory. -Ensuring daily contact with suppliers. -Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics, dispatch, and packing staff, providing guidance and support. -Dispatch Management: Oversee the dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to clients. -Documentation: Maintain accurate records of dispatch, logistics, and packing materials activities, including shipment tracking and delivery confirmations. -Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and clients to ensure smooth logistics operations. -Maintaining complete and accurate data in the ERP system. -Checking the quality of incoming goods for storage. -Cost Management: Monitor and control logistics and packing materials costs to ensure budget adherence. -Participating in regular inventory control processes. -Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for dispatch and packing materials. -Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays in the dispatch, logistics, and packing materials process. -Sustainable Packing Initiatives: Implement and promote sustainable packing practices, including reducing material waste, optimizing designs for recyclability, and exploring biodegradable or compostable alternatives. -Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to logistics, transportation, and packing materials.

What You Bring

-Experience: Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, and packing materials management, preferably in heavy industrial packing. -Additional Skill: SAP knowledge will be an ADDED Advantage -Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure. -Language proficiency: Kannada, English, Hindi. -Education: Diploma in electrical/EEE or similar discipline engineering. -Safety: Adequate Knowledge on safety for Packing and Dispatch Activities -Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, transportation regulations, and packing materials management. -Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software and tools.
