Overview

Tasks

-Collaborate with system operators, IT, and engineering teams to optimize EMS workflows. -Support system upgrades, patch management, and compliance documentation. -Configure and maintain EMS applications including real-time monitoring, alarming, contingency analysis, and state estimation. -Lead the integration of RT SCADA data streams into the EMS platform (E-terra, ABB, Electrification X, EcoStruxure, OSI). -Develop technical documentation, including design specs, validation test plans, and procedures. -Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SCADA/EMS environments. -Perform validation of EMS functionalities, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.

What You Bring

-Prior experience working with Transmission System Operators (TSOs) or Utilities. -5-10 years of experience in SCADA and EMS systems. -Experience in power system modeling and real-time applications. -Deep knowledge of SCADA protocols (IEC 60870, DNP3, ICCP/TASE.2). -Familiarity with energy utility standards (NERC CIP, FERC, etc.) is a plus. -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field. -Hands-on experience with an EMS platform. -Excellent communication and documentation abilities. -Strong experience in system validation, testing, and QA practices.
