What You Bring

-Native or professional-level competence in English. -Significant experience working for private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities in Australia. -University and master’s degree in energy economics / economic regulation, electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar. -Hands-on experience with grid connections advisory (e.g. to developers and/or system operators). Experience with transmission modelling software such as PSS/E or Digsilent would be an asset. -Excellent written communication skills. -International experience in power sector consultancy – demonstrable experience outside of as well as within Australia would be an asset. -Technical expertise in providing regulatory/markets advisory to utilities and regulators and/or technical advisory services to developers/owners/investors of renewable and storage projects. -Excellent working knowledge of power markets, energy policy framework and technical regulations. -Significant experience in lead generation and business development, with a strong track record establishing lasting relationships with private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities across Australia.
