The Role

Overview

Conduct on-site QC tests for concrete, aggregates, and asphalt, reporting discrepancies.

Tasks

-Collaborate with the project technical team by ensuring follow-up on site requirements; -Ensure compliance of materials (aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and other related materials) used on site; -Calibrate site equipment to ensure measurement accuracy and reliable results; -Apply health, safety, and environmental protection measures. -Report any material implementation discrepancies using non-conformity memos and prepare a site report for each intervention; -Perform quality control tests on site for cement concrete (air content, slump, temperature, etc.), granular materials (compaction validation, excavation base checks, etc.), and asphalt mixes (compaction validation, temperature, joints, application rate, etc.);

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license at the start of employment; -Ability to work independently as well as in a team; -Availability to work various shifts (day/evening/night/weekend); -Willingness to work on remote sites, an asset; -Possession of an ASP Construction card, an asset; -ACI certification, an asset; -Currently pursuing a DEC in civil engineering, forestry, mineral processing, or metallurgy; -Good knowledge of French; -Ability to lift loads up to 25 kg;
