Tasks

-Lead commercial and cost-management activities across a major civil engineering package. -Take ownership of valuations, forecasting, and reporting to ensure financial accuracy and performance. -Manage subcontract procurement and administration, including variations, change control and final accounts. -Provide commercial advice to project and delivery teams, ensuring compliance with contract terms. -Support value engineering, risk management and cost-saving initiatives. -Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to the ongoing development of commercial best practice.

What You Bring

-Experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS with a proven background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects. -Excellent understanding of NEC contracts and commercial reporting procedures. -Strong stakeholder-management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence project decisions. -High level of numeracy and attention to detail, with the ability to produce clear and accurate reports. -Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (MRICS desirable but not essential).
