Be a design lead on preliminary design studies and final design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects.
Perform work following an agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
Reviews designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
Support the business development of the AECOM Bus Rapid Transit Design Group.Contributes to the development of reports and documentation needed for the pursuit of federal grants.
Lead a team preparing engineering calculations and developing drawings and visual aids for BRT infrastructure.
Coordinate, cooperate, and work collaboratively with other team members.
Occasional travel may be required.
Assists with the engineering design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects, including the design of BRT transit guideways, BRT stations, and pedestrian facilities.

Experience in engineering design projects for WisDOT, the City of Madison, urban municipalities, and/or transit agencies.
Able to work out of our Middleton, Wisconsin office.
BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience with working between Revit and OpenRoads or Civil 3D.
Experience with oversight of junior staff.
Experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer/OpenRail Designer.
Experience with business development and client relations.
Professional Engineer’s License.
