Maintenance Technician

Overview

Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment and PLCs.

Tasks

-Follow all safety rules and practices including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout and PPE assessment -Follows all safety rules and practices -Performs complex repairs on production equipment and tools motors and mechanical components including basic pneumatics and hydraulics -Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical or electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, follows electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specification -Reads blueprints and schematics -Caring for our customers, -Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned. -Determines causes of operating problems, consults schematics and orders replacement parts. -Optimizing operations and -Know and follow all safety rules and procedures. -Integrating sustainability into our daily practices as well as our long-term strategy and promote a results-driven culture that is aligned with long term value creation. -Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies production electronic components, parts, switch panels etc. -Complete PM maintenance and repairs on production equipment (Band Saw, Iron Worker, Burn Table, Welding Machines & Plasma Torches, Overhead Crane & Forklifts) -May test new equipment and troubleshoot operation and make minor adjustments to equipment -Maintain the facilities (Lights & Fans) -May be involved in safety committees or initiatives -Performs preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery and components -Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required -Maintains and completes all required records -Performs basic troubleshooting on electrical equipment / 3 Phase / equipment up to 480v.

What You Bring

-Experience working with PLC,s and using programming software. -Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant -Must have experience working with Hydraulics, Electrical, and Pneumatics all tied into PLC operating system. -May be able to tack weld (Stik or MIG) for minor repairs
