Tasks

-Higher level management reviews work to measure meeting of objLeadership / Supervision (Discipline Supervision up to 50 craft) -Recommends changes to policies that affect immediate organization(s) -Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site. -Receives assignments with clear goals and the process by which to meet goals -Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. -Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents -Determines workforce requirements. -Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft. -Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance -Coordinates established area operational plans. -Oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive. -Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation. -Oversees engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals. ective -Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees

What You Bring

-Experience on an LNG construction site especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast. -Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience commensurate with the type of work to be undertaken. -Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience -Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction is preferred. -Knowledge of Bechtel’s Zero Accident Philosophy. Knowledge of the Project ES&H Handbook, the Supervisor’s ES&H Manual, the Project Safety Management Plan and the Bechtel Core Processes. -Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications. -Excellent communication and problem-solving ability. -Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation relating to field activities. -Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
