Engineering Coordinator

Overview

Coordinate engineering change requests, tracking, reporting, BOM loading, testing and support.

Tasks

-Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, accounting, and suppliers. -Generate and analyze monthly rework statistics; prepare and distribute performance reports. -Travel occasionally to customer sites to gather field data and assess equipment performance. -Load bills of materials (BOMs) and vendor data into ERP system. -Support cost reduction initiatives and track issued quantities quarterly. -Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Notices (ECNs) accurately and ensure proper routing. -Compile year-end engineering data and support R&D tax credit documentation. -Document mechanical system assembly/disassembly processes. -Investigate low-margin projects and assist with part number creation. -Maintain and update engineering tracking reports and project spreadsheets. -Coordinate engineering testing activities with the Solution Center team.

What You Bring

-Attention to detail and time management across recurring tasks. -Experience with Cognos or PowerBI reporting and data analysis. -Familiarity with engineering documentation and cost tracking. -2+ years of administrative experience in engineering or manufacturing. -Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field. -Customer service orientation and proactive support during peak engineering periods. -Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. -Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. -Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
