Overview

Inspect, repair, and modify aircraft structural components, including composites.

Tasks

-Participate in 5-S activities -Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed -Assist with aircraft component repair -Operate ground support equipment as required -Perform work in a safe and timely manner -Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures -Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached -Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed -Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft -Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts -Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures -Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations as needed -Remove / install aircraft components as required -Assist with towing aircraft as needed -Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft -Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required

What You Bring

-You own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of tools -You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable -You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status -Background Check & DOT Drug Screen: This step involves conducting a comprehensive background check, which includes reviewing criminal history, and other relevant records. Additionally, a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening will be carried out to ensure compliance with federal regulations for safety-sensitive positions -You have basic PC skills -Minimum 3 years of corporate experience (Bombardier and Gulfstream preferred) -You are able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays -You have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required -You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings -You have received training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or have equivalent schooling -You are able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
