Tasks

-Monitor regulatory changes and update EMS documents to ensure compliance. -Assist in aligning ISO 14001 with other management systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO 45001. -Support external audits and certification renewals. -Maintain EMS documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, legal registers, and aspect/impact assessments. -Present audit findings to site and corporate leadership and track corrective actions through completion. -Maintain accurate audit records, corrective action logs, and EMS change history. -Support facilities with compliance to federal, state, and local environmental regulations. -Conduct audits in accordance with ISO 19011, identifying non-conformities and improvement opportunities. -Assist with regulatory inspections and inquiries as needed. -Collaborate with environmental, operations, and corporate sustainability teams. -Provide EMS and ISO 14001 training and awareness to site teams. -Analyze audit trends and performance metrics to identify systemic issues and areas for improvement. -Plan, coordinate, and lead ISO 14001 audits across multiple U.S. facilities. -Conduct environmental risk assessments and support mitigation planning. -Perform supplier and contractor environmental audits.

A global electrical manufacturer that develops technology supporting a safer, more reliable, and resilient power grid is seeking a Senior Environmental Auditor. This role leads ISO 14001 audits across U.S. facilities, evaluates compliance with environmental regulations, drives continuous improvement in the Environmental Management System (EMS), and supports broader environmental governance initiatives. This position is highly cross-functional and requires a strong auditing background and the ability to influence at all levels. -Bilingual Spanish preferred. -Minimum 5 years of environmental experience leading ISO 14001 audits. -Experience conducting training in a manufacturing environment preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Project Management, or related field. -Experience developing training, SOPs, or job aids preferred. -Knowledge of OSHA standards preferred. -ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification required.
