Accounts Payable Assistant

Overview

Support finance team with accounts payable/receivable, ledger, reconciliations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Support property managers with finance-related queries -Perform daily bank reconciliations -Provide admin support to the finance team as needed -Generate and issue sales invoices -Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies -Assist Financial Accountants with reporting and reconciliation tasks -Prepare and submit payment runs and other ad hoc bank transfers -Respond to payment and invoice queries from internal and external stakeholders -Process a high volume of supplier invoices and nominal ledger receipts/payments -Support preparation of VAT returns -Analyse and reconcile ledger accounts

What You Bring

-Familiarity with accounting systems and processes -Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel -Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment -Willingness to learn and contribute to a continually evolving process framework -Well organised with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively -Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure -Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal -Experience within property or real estate finance (desirable but not essential) -Previous experience working in a busy accounts or finance department
