Project Engineer

Overview

Engineers water/wastewater projects, handling design, analysis, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively with Project Managers and multi-disciplinary teams. -Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering plans and specifications with precision and creativity. -Coordinate with team members across multiple offices and disciplines to keep projects on track and aligned. -Assist with permitting applications and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. -Lead portions of design work and help ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables that meet regulatory and industry standards. -Support and lead projects related to water, wastewater, and/or water resource management. -Accumulate and analyze data, presenting findings in professional reports, memos, and presentations for internal and client use.

What You Bring

-Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task -Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field -Previous experience executing technical studies, analyses, and/or designing and creating plans and specifications for water focused projects -Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for the results
