Tasks

This Senior Estimator position is central to shaping the future of the preconstruction team — driving excellence in cost control, collaboration, and client trust across major civil and concrete projects. You’ll play a critical role in preconstruction, leading estimating efforts across mechanical, civil, concrete, and structural scopes, while collaborating with internal stakeholders (up to the CEO of our organization) and our respective project teams to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive bids. -Manage subcontractor outreach, pricing comparisons, and bid evaluations. -Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial mechanical, concrete, structural, and select civil scopes. -Serve as a mentor to junior estimators, preparing to take on departmental leadership. -Support business development efforts through conceptual estimating and client-facing proposal support. -Collaborate with operations and field teams to ensure alignment between design intent and cost assumptions. -Conduct quantity take-offs, analyze drawings/specs, and develop project budgets. -Implement and improve estimating processes, systems, and technological improvements.

Senior Estimator – Mechanical/Structural Our client is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their Houston-based team. This is an exciting, high-impact opportunity for an experienced civil estimator ready to take on a leadership track — with a clear path toward the Estimating Manager role as the current manager transitions in the coming years. -8+ years of progressive estimating experience in industrial mechanical, concrete, and structural disciplines. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred. -Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. -Experience with take-off software and digital estimating tools. -Proven background in industrial mechanical estimating. -Leadership potential and drive to grow into an Estimating Manager role.
