Tasks

-Rotate through other departments within the branch office to learn about how our branch organization operates as a whole -Manage the procurement of supplies and materials to complete projects -Participate in project cost reviews -Develop and maintain a project schedule, as well as coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time-sensitive installation needs -Track labor resources and project progress -Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish a project delivery plan -Complete project-specific close-out documentation

What You Bring

-This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT. -Pursing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment. -Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university. -You may get experience rotating through our core business segments, which include HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Security, and Energy/Sustainability Systems -Skilled in using Windows laptops and adept at learning new software for programming and troubleshooting automation equipment. -Rising Junior, graduating between December 2027 – May 2028 -Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet -Strong analytical, writing, presentation and critical thinking skills -Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers -Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August) -Demonstrated leadership potential -Good verbal and written communication skills in English

-During this 10-week internship program, you will rotate through various departments at the local branch office, focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure -10% of your time with be spent with the sales department learning how we go-to-market and sell our solutions and services -10% of your time will be spent in our service department, focusing on the service-related tasks needed to deliver world-class service to Siemens customers -There is no relocation or housing stipend for this program -80% of your time will be spent on project management-related activities (learning how to manage a construction project, on-the-job training, and shadowing, etc.)
